An annual autumn tradition, The Maryland Renaissance Festival runs Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday for nine weekends of thrills, feasting, handmade crafts, entertainment, and merriment. The 27-acre Village of Revel Grove comes to life with more than 200 professional performers on ten stages, a 3,000-seat arena featuring armoured jousting on magnificent steeds, and streets filled with village characters.  More than 140 artisans exhibit crafts in their own renaissance shops. Sate your appetite at taverns featuring cool libations and dozens of food emporiums offering a vast array of succulent and sweet treats.
